Bio: Prof Dr Carola Jungwirth is a scholar of Business Administration with a strong research focus on governance, stakeholder legitimacy and digitalisation in higher education institutions. As a former university president, she has led substantial structural reforms, including tenure track implementation and digital entrepreneurship initiatives. Her research combines stakeholder theory and governance frameworks, drawing on case studies, comparative policy analyses and organisational design approaches to explore how universities navigate tensions between autonomy, market-based instruments and collegial decision-making.
