CIPES researcher Ana I. Melo presented the paper "Evidence Driven Higher Education Policy: The CIPES Contribution to Institutional and Political Decision Making" at the Research Summit 2026, held at the University of Aveiro from 15 to 17 July 2026.
CIPES PhD students Estela Cunha and Jorge Pereira participated in the 2nd European Universities Initiative Research and Practice Symposium, held on 2-3 July 2026 at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business, in Vienna, Austria.
CIPES researchers Carlos Azevedo, Joyce Aguiar and Maria José Sá participated in EDULEARN26, which took place in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, from 29 June to 1 July.
During the conference, the researchers presented the following papers:
"Graduate Employability in Marketised Higher Education: UK Undergraduates' Aspirations and Strategies" (Carlos Azevedo)
"Between Attraction and Control: Internationalisation, Student Mobility and Fundamental Values in Portuguese Higher Education" (Joyce Aguiar)
CIPES announces the publication of the "Balanço Anual da Educação 2026", prepared for EDULOG, the think tank of the Belmiro de Azevedo Foundation.
The study was carried out by a research team coordinated by Hugo Figueiredo and Carla Sá, with the participation of Orlanda Tavares and Pedro Luís Silva, all researchers at CIPES.
