Yesterday, CIPES researcher Ana Francisca Monteiro represented CIPES at the Research Summit 2025, organised by the Universidade de Aveiro of Aveiro, with the paper “Governance ‘by’ AI: Implications for Higher Education.”
This presentation comes in the context of the studies on public policies for the digitalisation of higher education currently at CIPES. These aim to analyse what reconfigurations might occur in higher education as digitalisation becomes more deeply integrated into its governance, namely through the use of AI systems.
The Research Summit is a forum that the University of Aveiro organises every year to encourage debate, sharing, and collaboration between its research community.
